Terms of Service

Last updated: July 14, 2026. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the AIRouter platform, API, and website. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

AIRouter ("we", "us", the "Service") provides a unified API that routes requests to third-party artificial intelligence models and providers. We act as an intermediary: model outputs are generated by the underlying providers, and availability of any specific model depends on those providers.

We may add, change, or remove models, providers, and features at any time. We aim to give reasonable notice for changes that materially reduce the Service's functionality.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials and API keys confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and API keys, including activity by team members you invite. Notify us immediately at support@airouter.fyi if you suspect unauthorized use.

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract to use the Service.

3. Subscriptions, billing, and refunds

The Service is offered as a paid subscription: $250 per month or $1,999 per year. Payments are processed by our merchant of record, Freemius, Inc. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.

You can cancel at any time from your dashboard or via the Freemius customer portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Yearly subscriptions include a 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of first purchase. Except as required by law, all other payments are non-refundable.

Prices exclude applicable taxes (such as VAT or sales tax), which are calculated and collected at checkout where required.

4. Unlimited credits and fair use

Subscriptions include unlimited credits, meaning we do not meter or bill your token usage. To keep the Service reliable for everyone, unlimited use is subject to fair use: you may not resell raw API access, share one subscription across unrelated organizations, or run traffic patterns designed to abuse the platform (for example, continuous synthetic load with no product purpose).

If we detect abusive usage, we will contact you first where practicable and may apply temporary rate limits. Normal production workloads — however large — are never throttled.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • violate any applicable law or regulation;
  • generate content that is illegal, or that violates the usage policies of the underlying model providers;
  • infringe intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights of others;
  • probe, disrupt, or circumvent the security or rate-limiting of the Service or of any provider;
  • misrepresent AI-generated output as human-created where doing so is deceptive or unlawful.

Requests routed to a given provider are also subject to that provider's acceptable-use policy. We may suspend accounts that materially or repeatedly violate this section.

6. Your content and outputs

You retain all rights to the prompts and data you submit ("Inputs") and, to the extent permitted by the underlying providers, the generated responses ("Outputs"). You grant us only the limited rights needed to operate the Service — transmitting your Inputs to the providers you select and returning Outputs to you.

We do not use your Inputs or Outputs to train models, and we operate with zero data retention by default (see our Privacy Policy).

7. Service levels and disclaimers

We target high availability and route around provider outages automatically, but the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any model output will be accurate, complete, or fit for a particular purpose. AI outputs can be wrong; you are responsible for reviewing them before relying on them.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Indemnification

You will indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your content, your use of the Service in violation of these terms, or your violation of applicable law.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, with notice where practicable. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (including limitations of liability) survive termination.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes we will notify you by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
